His criminal offenses related to child pornography and inappropriate relations with minors led him behind the bars.

However, he could have been sent to prison in early 2007, but a lack of powerful evidence stretched the process to 2015. 

Fogle was born on 23 August 1977 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Norman and Adrienne Fogle.

Growing up with a younger brother and sister, 44-year-old Jared attended North Central High School in Indianapolis and went to Indiana University Bloomington for graduation in 2000.

Side by side, while working on his academics, he momentarily worked in the revenue management department at American Trans Air.

Fogle, who had a net worth of $15 million before the ciminal charges, has $4 million worth of fortune as of 2022, according to wealthygorilla.com.

Fogle rose to prominence after he lost 245 lb (111 kg) in a year between 1998 and 1999 by including Subway in his diet plan. Due to this case, Subway hired him to help advertise the company the following year. 

But, his popularity went beyond that, and he did over 300 commercials with some movies during his 15 years with Subway.

Further, media appearances and motivational speaking not only brought him stardom but a massive wealth.

Pleading guilty of his deeds, Fogle was sentenced to 15 years and 8 months in federal prison. Plus, a minimum of 13 years before he becomes eligible for parole.

Now that he has spent half of his sentence, his projected release could be on March 24, 2029, according to Federal Bureau of Prisons online records.
