Many of Alex and Sierra's fans remained heartbreaking hearing the news about their separation after being together for so long time. Likewise, the duo was one-timed favorite pair who was appreciated and liked by thousands of fans. 

Similarly, Alex & Sierra auditioned in New Orleans, Louisiana, completing it to the next round after wowing the judges with an oppressive performance of Britney Spears's "Toxic".

Afterward, the duo continued on to the top 40 and received Simon Cowell as their mentor. Everything was going great but suddenly on September 1, 2017, Alex & Sierra announced via Twitter that they had broken up a year prior and had tried to continue the bond as friends.

However, the duo admitted that it was time for them to no longer continue contributing together, and instead chose to move ahead on their own careers.

Well, the reason for the breakup has not been released.

As per the sources, Alex is currently 30 years old as of 2022 and was born on September 8, 1991. On the other hand, Sierra's age is 31 years old. Besides, she recently celebrated her 31st  birthday on  February 11.

Moreover, Sierra was born in 1991. Similarly, Alex is from New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and Sierra, who is from Orlando. Besides, they performed together and have also posted cover versions of songs such as "I Knew You Were Trouble" by Taylor Swift and "If I Didn't Know Better" by The Civil 

For the fact, Alex and Sierra both auditioned for season 12 of American Idol. 

Alex and Sierra separated their ways about five years ago. Still, their fans are curious about their whereabouts and show much concern to explore Alex and Sierra's personal and professional careers. 

According to the last updates, after their split, Alex went on to form the band BoTalks and launched a single with Modern Family's Sarah Hyland and then he stepped on his own with his first solo EP as Kinsey! The lead single from the EP is called "Hot Mess."

Sierra Deaton is reported to be signed as a songwriter for Unknown Music Publishing and Kobalt Music Group. And according to Wikipedia, Deaton has been dating Luke Hemmings of 5 Seconds of Summer.

Moreover, the couple also announced their engagement on June 8, 2021, as confirmed on Instagram.
