Cheryl Hickey is the host of ET Canada, a Global Television Network entertainment news magazine that premiered on September 12, 2005.
She began working as a photojournalist and a news chopper reporter for the Global Television Network in May 1999. She moved on to covering the entertainment beat for Global in 2001.
Cheryl directed the documentary special 10 Wired Days, which provided a behind-the-scenes look at the event.
Other events Hickey covered for Global included the Grammy Countdown 2004 pre-show in New York City, the Toronto Molson Indy, the Rolling Stones benefit concert, and a live pre-show for Canada’s Walk of Fame.

Becoming a mother changed Cheryl Hickey’s life entirely.
She was stunned, surprised, excited, nervous, and terrified because it had been all about her job for the last 30 years or so. Hickey knew she could do it, but she didn’t know how.

A Canadian entertainment website stated on April 23, 2009, that Hickey was expecting her first child, and on October 15, 2009, she announced the birth of her son Jaxson on her Twitter account.
Hickey confirmed her pregnancy with her second child on Entertainment Tonight Canada in 2012. Nyla, her daughter, was born on April 17, 2013.
