Luke Kennedy Biography and Affairs

Luke Kennedy is a versatile performer and recording artist who recently became the runner-up of international television phenomenon The Voice Australia – Season 2. Luke was born 1982 on Luke in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. His age is 31 years old. He is very handsome, good looking and charming with the height of 5 feet 11 inch.when he was living at Swainsboro, Georgia. He completed his high schooling from East Georgia College. While he was studying at high school he used to work as Asst. Baseball Coach at Swainsboro middle school.  After his high school he has started his career from the age of 16.

At the age of 16 he has performed career writing music and gigging in local pubs and clubs with his high school band, and supporting Australian rock acts Jebediah, Killing Heidi, The Choir Boys, The Hoodoo Gurus, The Whitlam’s and Jimmy Barnes and also in numerous local productions which including Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar, Marius in Les Miserable and Mary Sunshine in Chicago. In 2002 he moved to Brisbane to again play the title role in Jesus Christ Superstar and continued in productions of The Wiz as the Lion, Alice, Beauty and the Beast as the Beast and Cain/Japheth in Children of Eden. In 2007, Luke also played the role of Jamie in Jason Robert Brown's The Last Five Years.He released his debut album, Overexposed, in July 2010 and reprises the title role in Jesus Christ Superstar, this time for the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of South Australia in Adelaide, South Australia. He recently made his debut for the Queensland Theater Company with the Danger Ensemble's iWar. He became a member of The Ten Tenors in the year 2008 and showed his performance in many parts of the world. He has done many shows.

In August and again in June 2011, he played the title role in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar at the QPAC Playhouse. Luke's appearances on the show led to him becoming the first artist to score a number 1 single on the iTunes charts with his version 'Time to Say Goodbye'. Seven of the eight songs he released during the show hit the iTunes Top Ten and he was also the first artist to have a Top Ten hit in the ARIA charts. All singles are currently available for download from iTunes, along with his brand new album A Time for Us released by Universal nearly two years on the road, he performed shows on nearly every continent in the world. Highlights of his time with TTT include the 2009 Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon which was broadcast to 32 million people across North America, the 2008 Emirates Melbourne Cup and the DVD recording of Amigos Para Siempre: Live in Madrid in August 2009 with the RTVE Orchestra.

Before appearing on The Voice, Luke had great touring achievements with The Ten Tenors and whilst on the road he performed shows in Spain, Switzerland, Mexico, Peru, Norway, Germany, Russia, South Korea, the USA, Austria, New Zealand, France, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovenia, Australia and many more. His numerous television appearances with the group include the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon (broadcast to 32 million people), the Emirates Melbourne Cup, Channel 7 Telethon in Perth, Vision Australia's Carols by Candlelight and 2012 UEFA Euro Fan Zone opening in Warsaw, Poland.

In the first Live Final he sang "Please Don't Ask Me" by John Farnham. After impressing Coach Ricky Martin the most he was straight through to the top 12. In the second live finals he sang "Freedom 90" by George Michael and this resulted in the public voting him through to the semi-finals. In the semi-finals he had to sing two songs in one night for the first time. First up was "Caruso" by Lucio Dalla and then his own original song "Love Is Gone". After a close race between him a fellow Team Ricky member "Miss Murphy" he progressed through to the top 4 in the Grand Final. In the Grand Final he again sang two songs. Then weeks after The Voice Australia announced that Luke Kennedy won the first prize. Then he went to “The voice” along with other finalists Celia Pavey and Danny Rosswhere they signed a record contract with Universal Music Australia and it was announced his debut album. Kennedy’s debut single Stay for a Minute was released on 5 July 2013.

Luke has also appeared on nationally televised CAROLS IN THE CITY in 2006, 2007 and 2010 for Ten Network and Nine Network and as a headline artist for CREATIVE GENERATION in 2010, 2011 and 2012 for ten Networks.

He loved his lady luck very much and married her longtime girlfriend Rebecca in 2010 who is intern of medical and a dancer. He likes to chill and relax with the love of his life. He is now a part of the reality show the Voice and he is coached by Ricky Martin. He is one of the finest singers in the contest and has the possibility of wining the show. He has amazing voice quality. He can thrill through his performance. THE Voice star Luke Kennedy walked out on his childhood sweetheart and their newborn daughter after having an affair with his wife's showbiz friend. This incident is serious and may result in divorce in between this loving couple.
