The reality star Edger works in the wild alligator hunting business from a young age. He handled the seafood industry for a decade, whereas his brother Dwaine pursued a career as an athlete. 

He joined the Swamp People alongside his dad while protecting the family's interest throughout the early seasons. After arriving on the reality show in 2014, it changed their life. Also, they got recognized by a greater frequency of people.

Swamp People Joey Edgar works alongside his father, Daniel, and his siblings. According to his father, they should kill 35,000 wild gators annually to keep control.

He controls over 500 acres of crawfish ponds with his family, where they farm crawfish. 

The hunter lives in Atchafalaya River Basin, and he started hunting the gators from a young age. He was the first to join the family business with his dad in his seafood operations. 

His Bait Co. company boat can catch a load of a maximum of one million pounds of fish. However, they capture around 400,000 to 500,000 pounds daily.
