Taylor Hawkins, the drummer for the Foo Fighters, died at the age of 50, according to his devastated bandmates.

On the band's official Twitter page, a statement was released claiming the terrible and unexpected death of beloved Taylor Hawkins who has left the Foo Fighters family heartbroken.

Similarly, Taylor was discovered dead in a hotel room in Bogota, Colombia, where the band was scheduled to perform at a festival, according to local news sources.

Following the tragedy, they stated that they will not be playing at the Festival Estéreo Picnic in the capital.
