They said gymnastics commentator Craig Heap is from Burnley while Johnny Vegas is from St Helens, over 40 miles away. Others thought that individuals were making the error because they could not distinguish between northern accents.

Craig Heap Is The Retired Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist Gymnastist

Craig, the former gymnast, holds the record of winning the Commonwealth Games Gold medal and has represented England in several international gymnastic matches, including at the 2000 Summer Olympics.
